Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Hydraulic Hose and Cylinder Technician, where your expertise will drive the maintenance and repair of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and hydraulic systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of hydraulic and fluid power systems on equipment including excavators, cranes, tractors, and construction equipment. You'll play a vital part in ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently, supporting our commitment to excellence in service and customer satisfaction. Your hands-on skills and mechanical knowledge will keep vital machinery running smoothly, making a real impact on project timelines and operational success. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and related components to ensure optimal performance of heavy equipment and industrial machinery Fabricate custom hydraulic hoses using hand tools, crimpers, and schematics to meet specific job requirements Use technical schematics and OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) manuals to accurately identify problems and execute repairs Conduct equipment inspections to identify potential failures before they occur; perform welding and soldering as needed for repairs. Assist with assembly, installation, calibration, and alignment of hydraulic systems on various types of heavy machinery Maintain a strong rapport and great attitude with customers, ensuring that their happiness and satisfaction with our service keeps them coming back. Qualifications Proven experience working as a heavy equipment mechanic or service technician in dealership or industrial settings. Strong knowledge of hydraulics and all types of fluid based power systems. Skilled in fabrication techniques including welding and soldering; familiar with schematics and technical manuals Experience with construction equipment servicing such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other OEM machinery Ability to operate power tools safely for equipment repair and maintenance tasks; capable of heavy lifting when necessary Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members Valid certifications or training in diesel mechanics, electrical systems, heavy equipment operation or maintenance preferred Join us to become part of a dedicated team that values technical expertise and hands-on problem solving.
