Job Description

Description of Heavy Equipment Mechanic:

A Heavy Equipment Mechanic assists with and performs the hands-on aspect of preventative maintenance and repairs of gas and diesel engines. This role requires working knowledge of the types of heavy equipment and is prepared to make repairs to all types of equipment and vehicles.

Basic Duties of Heavy Equipment Mechanic:

Perform preventive maintenance inspections, lubricate and perform routine repairs. Perform maintenance and repair on various pieces of diesel heavy equipment including but not limited to bulldozers, motor graders, front-end loaders, backhoes, paving machines, rollers, broom tractors, transfer vehicles, track hoes, off-road dump trucks, and other vehicles as needed.

Compensation of Heavy Equipment Mechanic:
