JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Mechanic Assistant is to assist in a variety of auto and small engine general maintenance and repair routines. Fuel, grease, lubricate autos, and other equipment, service batteries, and other parts. Performs safety inspections on vehicles and equipment; assists in routine repairs.

Change oil and repair tires, install and service batteries, spark plugs, light bulbs, fan belts, and other simple mechanical parts. Pick up and deliver auto parts, supplies, and vehicles.

Repair minor vehicle damage, touch-ups, and clean.

Repair and assist in the overhaul of various ground equipment, such as hand and power mowers, tractors, etc. Maintain the cleanliness of the shop, such as sweeping, trash, etc. Other duties as assigned by management.
