Job Description

Mechanic Technician I Pay Rate:
Up to $24.00/hour on W2, depending on experience
Work Type:
Onsite•Belle Fourche, SD 57717
Work Schedule:
Monday•Friday | 6:00 am•2:00 pm |

2-year contract with possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors Raise is currently hiring a Mechanic Technician I on behalf of our client. They're expanding their team to meet growing needs, making this a unique opportunity to work with an industry leader. 
Responsibilities:
Performs preventive/predictive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs a variety of mechanical equipment relative to their assigned location. Performs function testing to verify equipment readiness after maintenance. Ensures adherence to and accurate maintenance of, as well as input of, data into the company's system of record. This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the company's system during daily job activities. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Performs own work and assists others as directed.
Qualifications:
A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of experience in a mechanical field is required. A technical school certificate is preferred. Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting mechanical schematics/drawings/prints. Experience with hand tools. Maintenance and pm of processing equipment. Ability to work on mobile equipment. Possession of your own set of tools is preferred. VEVRAA Federal Contractor•priority referral of Protected Veterans requested.
