About us Tennessee Excavating Company is a small business in Knoxville, TN. We are professional, challenging and collaborative. We are looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for repairing a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, and other machinery. The field mechanic must have a strong understanding of safety protocols and be able to work independently with minimal supervision. We are looking for someone who is reliable, detail-oriented, and has excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

Repair heavy equipment such as bulldozers, excavators, and skid steers. Follow safety regulations and procedures when working on equipment. Inspect and maintain equipment to ensure it is in safe working condition. Perform maintenance tasks on equipment such as changing oil and filters. Load and unload materials from trucks or other vehicles. Communicate with other workers to coordinate activities.
