We are currently seeking to hire an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team! This is an excellent opportunity for Mechanics looking to grow within a reputable company, benefit from a strong compensation package and enhance their skill set. BoomCo specializes in Electric and Engine Powered Aerial Work Platforms including Boom Lifts, Scissor Lifts, Telehandlers/Reach Forklifts, Industrial Forklifts and midsized dirt equipment. 50 Hours per week Minimum, Overtime Pay 1.5x over 40 Hours, 401K Match at 4%, Paid Holidays, Paid vacation
And Health Insurance Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Repair and replace damaged or worn parts Operate and inspect machines or heavy equipment to diagnose defects Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications Clean, lubricate, and perform other routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints, and technical drawings Test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency Fit bearings to adjust, repair, or overhaul mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs Education or experience that prepares you for success: High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired 1-2 years of mechanic experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty equipment Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
