H//VAC Technician

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated H//VAC Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance, safety, and reliability of equipment used across various sectors including construction, agriculture, and industrial operations. Responsibilities Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, tractors, and other industrial machinery using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct routine maintenance including oil changes, filter replacements, tire service, brake repairs, suspension work, and hydraulic system servicing to keep equipment operating at peak efficiency. Fabricate custom parts or modifications using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques to meet specific operational needs. Operate heavy machinery safely during repairs or testing phases while adhering to all safety protocols related to air brakes, hydraulics, transmissions, and electrical systems. Troubleshoot complex mechanical issues involving HVAC systems, diesel engines, shocks & struts, and vehicle alignment to restore optimal functionality. Maintain accurate service records detailing repairs performed, parts used, and maintenance schedules for compliance and future reference. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of service tasks while providing excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly to clients or supervisors. Experience Proven experience working with heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, or similar machinery. Strong background in automotive diagnostics and repair with familiarity in dealership environments preferred. Mechanical knowledge encompassing transmissions, air brakes, hydraulics, suspension systems, HVAC units, diesel engines, and tire services. Hands-on experience with fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering; ability to use hand tools and power tools efficiently. Demonstrated ability to read schematics accurately and interpret technical manuals for complex repairs. Prior service technician experience in industrial or farm machinery is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills combined with strong communication abilities to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced setting.
