00 per hour according to the candidate's experience We are looking for a PM (Preventive Maintenance) Mechanic of Heavy Equipment/forklift to join our team! You will provide assistance in the repairing, rebuilding and servicing of heavy equipment and lift truck equipment in-accordance with recommendations and specifications under supervision by foreman. The company could require work transfers.
Primary Responsibilities:
Responsibility to complete maintenance plan, change oil, filter and quality inspections of equipment; Assist in diagnosing malfunctions, failures and other problems, and in evaluating worn and used parts; Perform routine vehicle maintenance; Manage cleanliness and washing of vehicles; Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components; Maintaining a safe and clean work environment; Respect compliance to safety procedures and wear PPE accordingly;
Experience:
At least 2-year experience as a mechanic repairing and maintaining heavy equipment Knowledge and experience in electrical, drive train, engine, hydraulics History of working with different forms of heavy equipment (forklift, tractors, mules, front-end loaders) and diagnostic related software is a plus
Education:
High School diploma (or equivalent) required Any related certifications/training (Electrical/Mechanical) is a plus Required Soft Skills and general requirements: Ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment Strong work ethic Willingness and ability to learn Well-developed interpersonal skills
