FIELD HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANICS
serving our Denton, TX jobsites and surrounding area for large construction projects. Repair experience and abilities must meet the following requirements: Minimum 5 years experience with repair of Caterpillar and Kenworth equipment. CAT ET/SIS, Cummins Insite- able to perform troubleshooting, install, remove, rebuild, replace, repair, in-frame, test, adjust, and PM service. Proficient to expert with electrical, air systems, drive train, power train, hydraulic, pumps, valves, undercarriage, implements, emission and regeneration systems on various models of heavy construction equipment and trucks. Extensive knowledge to include component rebuild repair. Duties and Responsibilities Receives written or oral instructions from supervisor regarding equipment to be serviced. Troubleshoot, rebuilds, replaces and repairs tires, brakes, drive train, power train, electrical, hydraulic and emissions systems. Inspects, cleans, maintains, and lubricates equipment. Able to make accurate and timely repairs while keeping a clean and organized work area. Qualifications 5 years minimum experience in Heavy Equipment, class 8 truck and component repair. Trade School in Diesel Tech or Apprentice Program. Ability to lift 75 lbs. Must hold a valid driver license with a clean driving record. Class A or Class B CDL preferred by not required. Self-motivated with strong work ethic. Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required. SEMA Construction, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
