Duties Perform diagnostics and repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, brakes, suspensions, hydraulics, and air brake systems to ensure safety and efficientcy Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire service, alignment checks Utilize schematics and technical manuals to troubleshoot complex issues on heavy equipment. Fabricate parts or modifications using welding, soldering, hand tools, power tools, and fabrication techniques to meet specific repair needs Inspect trailers and tractors for damage or wear; perform necessary repairs on trailer components such as axles, brakes, lighting systems, and structural elements Assist with assembly or disassembly of equipment during repairs or upgrades while adhering to safety standards Operate equipment safely during repairs or testing procedures while following all safety protocols Help with after hours calls, search for repair shops if we cant trouble shoot verbally with drivers assistance of trucks trailers and reefers. Requirements Proven mechanic experience with a strong background in heavy equipment repair; dealership experience is highly valued Knowledge of Kenworth,Peterbilt,Volvo or similar brands is preferred Skilled in using schematics for troubleshooting electrical systems and hydraulics; experience with electrical wiring and soldering is advantageous Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; familiarity with forklift operation and other heavy equipment operation required Experience working with tractor-trailers Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and maintenance tools necessary for repair tasks Strong mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills when interacting with team members or clients Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately Join us in delivering top-tier maintenance services that keep our fleet running smoothly!
