In this vital role, you will perform preventative maintenance, troubleshoot complex equipment issues, and repair a wide range of machinery to ensure optimal operation. Your proactive approach and technical knowledge will help maintain a safe, reliable environment that supports our operational excellence and growth. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery, HVAC systems, refrigeration units, and other equipment to prevent breakdowns and extend lifespan. Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools; execute repairs promptly to minimize downtime. Repair or replace appliances, HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) components, motors, belts, pumps, and other mechanical parts. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to facilitate accurate repairs and installations. Assist with construction or modification projects related to facility upgrades or equipment installation. Lead or collaborate with team members on complex repair tasks ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, parts used, and inspections completed for compliance and tracking. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician or maintenance mechanic with a strong background in appliance repair and equipment troubleshooting. Knowledge of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration technology, air conditioning units, and mechanical systems. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately; familiarity with electrical systems is a plus. Mechanical knowledge combined with hands-on experience in equipment repair and maintenance across construction or industrial environments. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues efficiently under pressure. Leadership qualities that enable guidance of junior team members or coordination during complex repairs.
