Job Summary Perform inspections and maintenance on all company equipment and property with emphasis on safety, quality and production as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor, utilizing skills including but not limited to welding, electrical, industrial, automotive and construction. Physical Requirements Stand or Sit(Stationary position), Walk(Move, Traverse), Use hand/fingers to handle or feel (Operate, Activate, Use, Prepare, Inspect, Place, Detect, Position), Climb (stairs/ladders) or balance (Ascend/Descend, Work atop, Traverse), Stoop, kneel, crouch, or Crawl(Position self(to), Move), Talk/hear(Communicate, Detect, Converse with, Discern, Convey, Express oneself, Exchange information), See (Detect, Determine, Perceive, Identify, Recognize, Judge, Observe, Inspect, Estimate, Assess), Pushing or Pulling, Reaching, Repetitive Motion Function in the Job Medium/Heavy work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Job Function Support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and strive to improve safety, procedures, quality, and efficiency in all areas of responsibility. General knowledge of diesel engines, fuel, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems regarding heavy equipment. General knowledge of commercial and industrial electrical systems including the ability to read, interoperate and troubleshoot equipment and machinery utilizing schematic drawings. General knowledge of over-the-road equipment and DOT regulations and inspections. Understanding and experience using hand tools and power equipment. Ability to multi-task and safely work in a fast-paced, team-based environment. Maintain compliance with all safety requirements, policies, and procedures. Demonstrated initiative to proactively seek out work and complete tasks. Enthusiastic team player with a motivating positive attitude. Dependable and consistent attendance/punctuality. Ability to work overtime, off shift and weekends assigned. Special projects or any other work as specified by management.
