Job Description
Ideematec, Inc ., with its offices in Arizona, is a German provider of high-performance solar tracking systems. An international track record of over 9 GW deployed, more than 15 years of experience in the tracker field and 82+ diverse patents, Ideematec is a trusted partner in advanced solar PV tracking technology. To expand our North American team, we are hiring a Field Technician to support onsite project construction in Corsicana/Central Texas and surrounding areas. The Field Technician will provide onsite installation training and support of our tracker products related to documentation, quality, and/or customer construction. This role will work closely with the Application Engineer to monitor and improve in field product installation. Responsibilities include commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and calibration, and overseeing material delivery. It will require cross functional leadership and will work closely with various departments including sales, product management, logistics, and project engineering. This position requires relocation to project sites during construction to support customers with product related questions and/or service repairs. - construction on best deployment practices and install techniques Analyze customer needs and recommend appropriate solutions to sales and project management departments Coordinate with Project Manager to proactively manage the project schedule and understand how delays may impact the overall project milestones Provide infield support during site analysis, retrofits, commissioning, and service repairs Ensure all trackers components, tools, and related equipment are operating properly Coordinate with Logistics Manager to ensure all trackers components, tools, and related equipment are delivered and handled properly onsite Check-in and document deliveries, coordinate returns and replacement orders as needed Quickly evaluate and diagnose field related issues to determine root cause Maintain accurate and timely daily reports to track construction progress, material deliveries, installation issues, tool issues and others site activity Maintain accurate and timely records of customer correspondence/discussions Assist Application Engineer with creation of documents related to standard practices and overall installation of tracker and components Qualifications•Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems Strong computer comprehension Experience working with Microsoft products (Word, Excel etc.
