Experienced Heavy Construction Equipment Field Mechanic

Southern Plains Equipment is looking for an experienced heavy equipment mechanic to work on the following types of equipment: Skidsteers, Dozers, Wheel loaders, Excavators, Compactors, Trenchers, Rocksaws, Telehandlers, Boom lifts and more. Requirements Must be able to diagnose electrical, hydraulic and engine problems, source parts from local dealers and repair. Must have valid driver license. At least 21 years of age At least 10 years of experience working on construction equipment. Must be dependable and trustworthy. Understands the importance of time management. Ability to read and comprehend the standards of operating procedures, owner's manuals and product/warning labels. Ability to operate large, heavy machinery. Ability to lift 50+ pounds. Must have a positive "can do" outlook. Preferred but not required Welding experience Have your own hand tools Engine rebuild experience A/C repair experience Proficient in Software updates, and diagnosis.
