We are seeking an Equipment Technician to support production operations by maintaining, calibrating, and repairing manufacturing equipment in a clean, technology-driven environment. In this role, you'll help maximize equipment uptime by performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting production equipment, completing calibrations, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Responsibilities Perform preventive maintenance and equipment calibrations to ensure optimal performance. Troubleshoot and repair production equipment to minimize downtime. Conduct routine equipment inspections and document maintenance activities. Perform minor mechanical and electrical repairs, including replacing equipment components. Complete soldering and basic circuit board repairs as needed. Support equipment setup, testing, and continuous improvement projects. Maintain equipment records, calibration logs, and asset tracking documentation. Assist with annual equipment inventory and asset management. Work closely with production and engineering teams to resolve equipment issues. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area while following all company safety procedures. Qualifications & Requirements Education High School Diploma or GED required. Technical certification, vocational training, or Associate degree preferred. Experience Minimum one year of experience in manufacturing, assembly, maintenance, or equipment support. Three or more years of experience as an Equipment Technician in a manufacturing environment is preferred. Experience with soldering, hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and microscopes is a plus. Mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience is highly desirable. Skills Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting abilities. Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. Excellent attention to detail and documentation skills. Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple assignments. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Manual dexterity to work with small components, tools, and precision equipment.
