- Summary
- The Shop Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing natural gas compression equipment. This role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and quality. The Shop Technician will work closely with the Shop Manager and other team members to ensure that all equipment is functioning efficiently and safely.
- Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- + Performs job activities in a manner consistent with Kodiak's procedures/protocols,goalsand objectives.
- Education
- & Certification
- s•+ High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in mechanical, electrical, or related field preferred.
- Work Experience
- + Minimum of 2 years of experience in maintenance and repair of natural gas compression equipment or similar mechanical systems.
- Skills & Abilities
- + Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. + Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. + Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Physical Demands
- + Requires operation of heavy equipment.
