Job Overview We are seeking a skilled Equipment Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of various equipment and machinery. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background and be proficient in using diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to ensure optimal equipment performance. This position requires attention to detail and a commitment to safety standards. Duties Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure functionality. Diagnose equipment malfunctions and perform necessary repairs in a timely manner. Utilize diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, to troubleshoot electrical issues. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed. Collaborate with other technicians and departments to resolve equipment-related issues. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while working in compliance with industry standards. Assist in the installation of new equipment as needed. Skills Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, particularly an ohmmeter. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with colleagues. Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices in an industrial environment. $55,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
