About us Southwood Building Systems, Inc is a small business in Ashland, VA. We are professional.

Growth opportunitiesResponsibilities:
- Operate and maintain various types of equipment, including but not limited to forklifts, cranes, and earthmoving equipment
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines while operating equipment
- Transport materials and goods to designated areas within the facility
- Assist with loading and unloading of materials from trucks or other vehicles
- Collaborate with team members to complete tasks efficiently and effectively
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating heavy equipment is preferred
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
- Knowledge of basic welding and soldering techniques is a plus
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Familiarity with tire service and automotive repair is beneficial
