Job:

K-TEK Industries is looking for an experienced Field Service Technician (Road Mechanic) to maintain and repair JLG, Genie, SkyTrak, and JCB equipment — including telehandlers, manlifts, scissor lifts, and light construction or utility trucks. You'll travel to customer job sites to diagnose and fix issues on the spot, ensuring equipment runs safely and efficiently. If you've worked on rental fleets or in the rental equipment industry , we want to talk to you!

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on telehandlers, aerial lifts, and utility trucks Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical problems Repair or replace parts as needed to restore safe operation Travel to job sites for on-site service Maintain detailed service records and manage parts inventory Deliver excellent customer service and represent K-TEK with professionalism Follow all safety procedures and company policies Work independently while being part of a supportive, close-knit team

Requirements:

Experience as a Heavy Equipment Field Tech or Road Mechanic (rental fleet experience preferred) Familiar with JLG, Genie, SkyTrak, or JCB equipment Strong knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems Excellent diagnostic and troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Must own your own tools Strong communication and a can-do attitude
