Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Mobile Mechanic to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy equipment, industrial machinery, and vehicle fleets at various job sites. Your expertise will ensure that equipment operates efficiently and safely, minimizing downtime and supporting operational excellence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse machinery in a fast-paced environment, providing essential services that keep operations running smoothly. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive diagnostics using schematics and automotive diagnostics tools to identify issues with heavy equipment, farm machinery, and vehicles. Conduct repairs and maintenance on diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, suspension systems, air brakes, and HVAC systems. Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering tools, and fabrication techniques to repair or modify machinery components. Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractor-trailers safely and efficiently during maintenance tasks. Troubleshoot electrical systems and perform electrical repairs with a focus on industrial equipment and automotive repair standards. Conduct tire service, wheel alignments, shocks & struts replacements, brake repairs, and assembly of mechanical parts. Maintain detailed service records, complete shift reports, and ensure all safety protocols are followed during operations. Skills Proven experience working as a mechanic with dealership experience preferred. Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operation including excavators, cranes, forklifts, and tractors. Skilled in fabrication techniques such as welding and soldering for custom repairs or modifications. Ability to read and interpret schematics for electrical and hydraulic systems accurately. Mechanical knowledge across automotive repair, transmissions, air brake systems, suspension components, HVAC systems, and diesel engine repair. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, service technician practices, and maintenance procedures. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly to clients or team members.
