Job Description
This position is responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of heavy construction equipment that includes dump trucks, light duty trucks, skid steers, bulldozers, graders, snow equipment, etc. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years' experience as a heavy truck mechanic Basic computer skills Working knowledge of hydraulic systems Working knowledge of gas and diesel engines Basic welding skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Must have full set of mechanics tools Must have a valid drivers license and a clean driving record Must pass a drug screen Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Responsibilities Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude Responsible for PM services and repair of a variety of construction equipment, dump trucks and snow equipment Conduct routine maintenance and repairs including tire changes, brakes, shocks etc. Keep the workspace clean and free of trash Repair or replace broken parts in a cost-effective manner Schedule future maintenance for equipment as needed Maintain accurate documentation on work orders Skills Proven experience as a truck mechanic Excellent electrical and mechanical skills Excellent problem-solving skills Excellent communication skills
