ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Performs a variety of duties in support of the operation of Phoenix Global. The job consists of providing maintenance services to the Phoenix fleet and related equipment. Responsible for acting in accordance with the policies and procedures of Phoenix Global and its customers. Assembles, dissembles, and repair mobile equipment and their system s components. Tear down, replace, repair, and install equipment parts, components, and accessories. Diagnoses and determines failure or disruption of mobile equipment and their systems. Diagnose mechanical problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and adjust. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance. Compliance with all Phoenix Safety Policies & Procedures, including wearing specific Personal Protective Equipment required for various job functions. Compliance with all Phoenix Standard Operating Procedures Attendance at Mandatory monthly Safety Meetings Housekeeping and safe handling of materials and equipment must always be exercised. Exercise and implement proper lifting and carrying techniques when moving packaging materials. Planning work schedules and resource deployment Performing quality control and quality assurance Performing general and preventative maintenance on Transportation units (e.g., excavators, loaders, transport vehicles, etc.) into service. Handling components, modules, and systems of Transportation units Documentation of all completed work Tracking of all parts and lubricant consumed. Observing relevant safety, accident prevention and environmental regulationsQualifications:
- Ability to Lift up to 50 lbs.
- Mechanical aptitude
- Knowledge of heavy equipment
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, braking systems, electrical systems, drivelines, steering mechanisms, and suspensions.
- Ability to bend, kneel, stoop, climb or crawl under or on top of equipment.
- Ability to manipulate components in hard-to-reach places with hands or tools.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to perform other duties as assigned.
