Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on a wide range of equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity. Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other testing devices. Repair or replace faulty components, including motors, sensors, wiring, and control panels, following safety protocols and manufacturer guidelines. Document all service activities thoroughly, including repairs performed, parts used, and observations made during inspections. Collaborate with team members to prioritize service requests and ensure timely completion of maintenance tasks. Assist in calibrating equipment to meet operational specifications and safety standards. Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency. Support inventory management by tracking parts usage and notifying supervisors when supplies need replenishing. Proven ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and diagrams to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively. Experience with electrical testing devices such as ohmmeters; familiarity with multimeters is a plus. Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform repairs on complex machinery. Excellent problem-solving skills with an active approach to diagnosing issues quickly and accurately. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail. Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods during maintenance tasks. High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in electrical or mechanical fields preferred. Prior experience working with industrial equipment or in a maintenance role is advantageous but not mandatory.
