We're looking for a technician who loves the challenge of finding the fault fast, fixing it right the first time, and getting mission‑critical cleaning and restoration equipment back to work.
Compensation:
$23.00-$25.00 per hour, plus a monthly bonus. Is this you? Do complex diagnostics on small gas engines (2, 3 & 4 cylinder) sound like a good puzzle? Can you navigate test meters, troubleshooting guides, and manufacturer manuals with confidence? Are you comfortable speaking with customers, creating bids, and explaining estimates by phone, email, or face‑to‑face? Do you keep your bay spotless, your tools maintained, and your work precise? What you'll tackle Full‑spectrum diagnostics and repair for equipment used in commercial cleaning, restoration, and surface‑prep Systems including truck‑mounted carpet cleaning units, portable extractors, hard‑surface floor machines Support gear such as duct cleaning and deodorizing equipment, dehumidifiers, air scrubbers, air movers, and HEPA vacuums Basic automotive‑style components and controls tied to these systems How you'll succeed Create service orders and schedule/track appointments in our system Evaluate and communicate additional service needs proactively Build and present clear, itemized bids/estimates Order parts, work with vendors, and coordinate workload with other techs Meet or exceed department quality and productivity benchmarks Use and maintain shop equipment properly; keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Follow supervisor direction and support store staff and fellow technicians What you bring 2+ years preferred in one or more areas: commercial cleaning/restoration equipment; small engine service; pressure washer maintenance/repair; or vehicle repair/maintenance Valid driver's license and a clean 3‑year driving record (no DUIs or careless/reckless driving) High school diploma or equivalent; basic computer literacy Personal basic set of mechanic's tools Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and fast, accurate diagnostics Commitment to safety with PPE (safety glasses, hearing protection, etc.) Ability to stay focused and deliver quality work on time; lift 50+ lbs regularly Professional communication skills (written and spoken); bilingual English/Spanish is a plus Willing to work occasional overtime
