Job Description
Town of Colchester Mechanic II Starting Base Pay up to $76,268 per year, DOE Excellent benefits package! Colchester's Dept. of Public Works has a full-time opportunity for an experienced Mechanic II with advanced knowledge of equipment maintenance, diagnostics and repair, to include heavy equipment, emergency service vehicles and small engine repair of gasoline and diesel-powered engines. Successful applicants will have a minimum of eight years of related experience, the ability to diagnose specific problems to determine the correct repair, and maintain accurate parts and labor records. A valid Commercial Driver's License is required . Town provides all tools required to perform the job. This full-time opportunity offers work/life balance, with a Monday thru Friday, 7AM - 3PM schedule. Overtime available; occasionally required.
