•We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Mechanic to join our dynamic landscaping company. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of landscaping equipment and machinery to ensure smooth operations across all projects. Your expertise will help keep our fleet of equipment in top condition, enabling us to deliver exceptional service to our clients. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about mechanical systems and outdoor equipment maintenance to thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment. Duties Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on landscaping machinery, including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other power equipment Diagnose and repair mechanical issues using schematics, technical manuals, and electrical diagnostics tools Conduct diesel engine repairs, small engine maintenance, and general equipment troubleshooting to minimize downtime Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, soldering irons, and other mechanical tools to complete repairs effectively Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and maintenance logs for all equipment repairs and inspections Assist with vehicle maintenance including hydraulic systems, electrical work, and engine repairs for company trucks and trailers Support the repair of power generation systems and heavy machinery used in landscaping projects Skills Proven mechanic experience or service technician experience with outdoor power equipment, trucks, trailers, and or similar machinery Strong mechanical knowledge of engine and electrical diagnostics skills Ability to read schematics and technical manuals accurately for troubleshooting complex systems Experience with electrical work, soldering, welding, and electrical diagnostics to resolve wiring or component issues Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and small engine maintenance techniques Knowledge of equipment repair procedures for generators, heavy machinery, and power generation systems Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks safely in outdoor environments Familiarity with a wide array of machinery, vehicles, and trailers. Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to equipment troubleshooting and repairs snow removal experience and or a willingness to learn snow removal services. Pay:
$26.00 - $32.00 per hour
