Job Description

We are looking for mechanic to join our team of experienced professionals. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and be able to read and diagnose codes for vehicles. The position will involve working on a variety of equipment, including dump trucks, diesel trucks, skidsteers, excavators, and trailers. We mainly run older GM Top Kick trucks that can not be diagnosed with a scanner. The mechanic will also be responsible for DOT inspections and snow plowing in the winter.
  • Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on all landscape equipment
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical problems
  • Perform DOT inspections
  • Rebuild engines and transmissions
  • Fabricate and install hydraulic components
  • Snow plowing in the winter
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of experience as a mechanic
  • Strong knowledge of diesel engines and hydraulics
  • Ability to read and diagnose codes for vehicles
  • DOT certification
  • Experience with snow plowing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent customer service skills

NOTE:
I am willing to allow you to use my shop/lift for part time side work. This would come into play when all the work for the company has been completed. If this is something that interest you Id love to sit down and talk. There will be some limitation as far as the side work goes but nothing too crazy. This is a exlecent opportunity to not only make a living working for our company but as well as earning some extra change on the side.
