TBA Job DescriptionThe Generator Technician is responsible for load testing, preventative maintenance and repairs to various major brands of diesel and natural gas generators. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Follow all Safety procedures and policies Troubleshoot and perform maintenance and repair on major brands of generators Research component datasheets when necessary to distinguish operational characteristics and functional Inputs/Outputs Schedule and performance preventative maintenance Purchase necessary parts for repairs and PM Perform load testing Perform administrative duties as necessary Adhere to all company policies, values, procedures and business ethics Desired Competencies Technical degree or certification a plus Positive attitude and excellent customer relationship skills The ability to set goals and accomplish them The desire to take advantage of certification opportunities to have the most updated product training Solid written and verbal communication skills Strong work ethic and the ability to work with little supervision Education Requirements 2 year Technical Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is highly desired Minimum of five years' experience as a Generator Technician Clean driving record and valid license Knowledge of major makes of generators and the associated engines Benefits package that includes: Medical, Company Paid Dental, Company Paid Vision, Short Term/Long Term Disability, Life Insurance, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, and more.
