Salary:

$66,000 - $123,000 Annually Shift timing: 9/80 schedule (Every other Friday off) Day shift and swing shift available (Swing shift has a 10% shift differential) Here is what you will do: Primary focus: Responsible for testing and troubleshooting microwave components, sub-assemblies and final products to ensure products meet company and customer specifications.

Responsibilities:

Performs set-up and checks accuracy of standard microwave bench test equipment, such as sweep generators, network analyzers, and frequency counters. Performs microwave test, takes measurements and tunes products to meet specifications. Troubleshoots components, sub-assemblies final products and/or sys

• tems and test equipment to determine cause and remedy of malfunc
• tions. Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment used to test an
• tennas. Evaluates, test and recommends commercial test equipment for use in the production test department. Interfaces, as directed; with other departments to resolve problems regarding testing or assembly. May provide work direction to lower level technicians. Performs data review and trend analysis on antenna data. Performs limited, intermittent physical exertion. Works under ac
• ceptable conditions with some distraction due to occasional ex
• posure to noise, dust, heat or chemicals.

Qualifications:

Requires a an AA degree in electronics or a minimum of 2 years specialized trade or military training and/or a minimum of four years of related experience. Requires the use of complicated drawings and specifications, intermediate mathe

• matics, a wide variety of precision measuring instruments, and ex
• perience testing, troubleshooting and repairing microwave products.

Must be able to climb ladders and crawl inside antennas. Additional Requirements Flexible to work varied shifts, overtime, weekends and travel on occasion. Must have good repetitive manual dexterity with both hands. Must have sufficient vision to see relative positions of small parts and able to discern symmetry and proper alignment. Will be exposed to some or all of the following: fumes, dust, toxic or caustic chemicals, outdoor weather, moving mechanical parts and moderate to loud noise levels. Able to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, and squat. Able to occasionally push, and reach. Able to lift 50 pounds close to the body repetitively. (Employees need to ask for assistance and use material handling tools for lesser weight in awkward location and/or body positions and for any items over 50 pounds). Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment as necessary. Must be able to obtain a Security Clearance.
