Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Technician for Commercial Appliances (Hot Side) and become a vital part of delivering top-tier service in the commercial foodservice industry! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing hot-side commercial appliances such as TurboChef ovens, Bagel Ovens, grills and steamers. Your expertise will ensure our clients' equipment operates smoothly, efficiently, and safely, helping them serve their customers with confidence. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical and electrical skills in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional customer service. Responsibilities Install new commercial hot-side appliances following detailed schematics and technical specifications Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal appliance performance Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using ladder use and hand tools Repair or replace faulty components on appliances utilizing power tools and equipment repair techniques Interpret electrical diagrams and schematics to diagnose complex issues accurately Operate company vehicles safely for delivery, service calls, and equipment transport Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly about repairs, maintenance schedules, and safety procedures Requirements Proven experience with appliance repair, installation, and troubleshooting in a commercial setting Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by familiarity with commercial appliance systems and electrical work Ability to read schematics and technical manuals with confidence Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools and electrical testing devices Experience working with maintenance, repair & operations Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely; delivery driver experience is a plus Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving Knowledge of equipment repair processes including refrigeration systems and appliance components Join us to make a tangible difference in the efficiency of commercial kitchens!
