The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and plumbing knowledge, along with excellent customer service skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in the field, utilizing a company vehicle and a wide range of tools to ensure appliances operate efficiently and safely. The position requires a detail-oriented professional committed to delivering high-quality service and solutions. Duties Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues using schematics, electrical diagrams, and diagnostic tools Perform appliance repairs including refrigeration, electrical work, plumbing, and mechanical repairs Use hand tools, power tools, and other equipment safely and effectively during service calls Conduct routine maintenance and operational checks on appliances to prevent future issues Follow safety protocols while working around electrical systems, refrigerants, and other potentially hazardous components Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair procedures, timelines, and maintenance tips Maintain accurate documentation of service performed and parts used in service reports Operate company vehicle responsibly during field service appointments Experience Proven experience with appliance repair including refrigeration systems and electrical work Familiarity with schematics, electrical diagrams, and troubleshooting procedures Experience with appliance installation and assembly in residential or commercial settings Knowledge of mechanical systems, plumbing, MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Operations), and field service operations Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ladders, and other equipment necessary for appliance servicing Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly Prior experience operating company vehicles is preferred but not mandatory; valid driver's license required Ability to work independently in the field while adhering to safety standards and protocols
