Responsibilities Diagnose appliance issues using schematics, technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently. Perform repairs on various appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems with precision and attention to detail. Utilize electrical experience and equipment repair skills to troubleshoot complex electrical components and systems. Read and interpret schematics and technical diagrams to guide repair processes accurately. Conduct appliance assembly, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting in customers' homes or commercial settings. Maintain clear communication with customers by explaining repair procedures and providing maintenance advice to enhance appliance longevity. Manage field service tasks efficiently by planning routes with delivery driver experience in mind, ensuring timely service calls. Requirements Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or related fields such as HVAC or refrigeration. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to read schematics and technical manuals. Hands-on experience with electrical systems, equipment repair, and troubleshooting complex appliances. Customer service skills with a professional attitude and excellent communication abilities. Valid driver's license with delivery driver experience preferred; comfortable operating box trucks or similar vehicles. Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service appointments daily. Physical capability to lift heavy appliances, work in confined spaces, and perform manual tasks safely.
