Job Description
Overview We are looking for a Coffee Machine Technician to launch a new coffee equipment repair business with us. We currently operate a coffee shop and have had trouble finding consistent repair companies that can come out in a timely manner and correctly diagnose our machines. We believe the best long term fix for this is to be a part of the solution! In this role, you'll be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting a wide range of coffee and beverage equipment to ensure smooth operations across various client locations. Your mechanical expertise, electrical knowledge, and field service skills will help us keep coffee machines running flawlessly, delighting customers and supporting business success. Additionally you will help with sourcing new business and building out our standard operating procedures. Responsibilities Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on commercial coffee machines, refrigeration units, and related beverage equipment. Diagnose issues using technical manuals, and mechanical knowledge to identify root causes efficiently. Install new coffee machines and associated accessories following manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Conduct field service visits to client sites, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum customer satisfaction. Communicate clearly with customers about repair procedures, maintenance schedules, and safety precautions. Requirements Proven experience in coffee technician roles, or field service work involving commercial or industrial equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams effectively. Experience on La Marzocco machines a plus. Ability to assemble, install, and repair complex machinery while adhering to safety protocols. Excellent customer service skills with a proactive approach to problem-solving and communication.
