Duties Diagnose and repair various household appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical guides. Perform mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration repairs with precision and attention to detail. Assemble appliances and install new units at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and safety standards are met. Conduct routine maintenance checks to prevent future breakdowns and extend appliance lifespan. Utilize a box truck or similar vehicle to transport parts, tools, and appliances safely to job sites. Provide excellent customer service by explaining repairs clearly, answering questions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Maintain detailed service records, work orders, and reports for each job completed. Experience Proven experience as a service technician specializing in appliance repair or related field service roles. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to read schematics and technical diagrams accurately. Electrical experience with troubleshooting wiring issues and electrical components in appliances. Familiarity with refrigeration systems, HVAC units, or equipment repair is highly desirable. Delivery driver experience is a plus for managing transportation of parts and equipment efficiently. Customer service skills that foster positive interactions with clients while addressing their appliance concerns.
