Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Appliance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and experience in appliance repair, ensuring that our customers receive top-notch service. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various household appliances, while also providing excellent customer service. The Appliance Technician will work both independently and as part of a team to ensure timely and effective repairs. Responsibilities Diagnose and troubleshoot appliance issues, including refrigerators, washers, dryers, and other household equipment. Perform repairs on appliances in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards. Assemble and disassemble appliances as needed for repairs or maintenance. Read and interpret schematics to understand appliance functionality and identify problems. Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding repair processes and timelines. Maintain accurate records of service calls, repairs performed, and parts used. Collaborate with field service teams to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction. Stay updated on the latest HVAC systems and appliance technologies to enhance repair skills. Qualifications Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in appliance repair or related fields. Familiarity with HVAC systems is a plus. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients. Experience reading schematics and technical manuals for troubleshooting purposes. Ability to work independently in the field while managing time effectively. A valid driver's license is required for delivery driving responsibilities associated with the role. Previous experience in equipment repair or field service is preferred but not mandatory.
