About the Role As a Field Service Technician, you will serve as the primary expert for homeowners, diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues with major home appliances. You will utilize your technical expertise to restore functionality to essential household systems, ensuring every customer receives high-quality service and peace of mind. Responsibilities Travel to residential locations to troubleshoot and repair refrigerators, dishwashers, washers, dryers, and microwaves. Deliver exceptional service outcomes that improve the comfort and efficiency of the customer's home environment. Maintain an organized service vehicle and manage inventory of parts to ensure first-time fix success. Provide expert recommendations and value-added solutions to extend the lifespan of household equipment. Utilize mobile technology to document repairs, order necessary components, and access technical support resources. Adhere to safety standards and quality protocols to ensure consistent, reliable workmanship on every call. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. EPA Type I or Universal certification for refrigeration work. Proven mechanical aptitude and experience using diagnostic testing tools. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting up to 50-100 lbs and frequent bending or kneeling. Proficiency in reading technical manuals and communicating effectively in English. Preferred Skills 1-2 years of professional experience in appliance or HVAC repair. Demonstrated success in a customer-facing, mobile service role. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in the field.
