Responsibilities Perform troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of appliances including refrigerators, washers, dryers, ovens, and HVAC systems using schematics and technical manuals. Conduct installations and assembly of new appliances at customer locations, ensuring proper setup and safety standards are met. Utilize electrical, refrigeration, and mechanical knowledge to identify issues accurately and implement effective solutions. Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical instructions to facilitate repairs. Travel to customer sites using a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver appliances when needed; ensure timely arrival and professional presentation. Communicate clearly with customers about repair processes, maintenance tips, and safety precautions to enhance their experience. Maintain detailed records of service visits, repairs performed, parts used, and follow-up requirements for each job. Skills Proven experience in appliance repair or as a service technician with strong mechanical aptitude. Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals confidently. Solid electrical experience combined with refrigeration knowledge is highly desirable. Customer service skills that foster trust and ensure positive interactions with clients. Experience working as a delivery driver or operating a box truck is a plus. Mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, equipment repair, and assembly processes. Familiarity with field service operations including troubleshooting electrical components and mechanical parts.
