Job Description
What you'll do Diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems across the property, resolving service requests efficiently Execute scheduled preventive maintenance on all mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems Handle unit turns—including appliance checks, minor repairs, and make-ready tasks Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for after-hours maintenance emergencies Keep work orders updated in the property management system and communicate professionally with residents What we're looking for EPA 608 certification (required) Valid driver's license 2-5+ yrs HVAC experience Multifamily experience preferred Solid HVAC skills — diagnostics, refrigerant handling, preventive maintenance Working knowledge of plumbing repairs: leaks, clogs, and fixture replacement Electrical basics: outlets, switches, and lighting Appliance repair and troubleshooting Comfortable using work order systems (AppFolio, Yardi, or similar) Reliable, resident-focused, and able to work independently and as part of a team Work environment Mid-size community (268 units) — steady, manageable workflow year-round Class B systems — older but well-maintained; expect variety without overwhelm Collaborative team in place — you won't be working alone or stretched thin Balanced mix of service requests and unit turns; not turn-heavy year-round Why join us Stable, year-round work — no seasonal layoffs or slowdowns Clear path to lead technician or supervisor role as the company grows Organized management, clear expectations, and a property that's well-run—not in constant rehab Ongoing exposure to multifamily best practices and professional development Ready to apply?
