We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Cooling Technician to contribute to our high-energy team, where you will play a key role in the upkeep and restoration of sophisticated HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical infrastructure. This position provides a fast-paced setting where your technical proficiency will influence the safety and operational performance of essential cooling assets. You will be tasked with identifying malfunctions, executing necessary fixes, and guaranteeing peak system performance across various industrial and commercial sites. Core Duties Perform regular check-ups and fault-finding on mechanical, HVAC, and refrigeration units by utilizing technical guides, blueprints, and testing equipment like ohmmeters. Execute equipment restorations, covering items such as plumbing, boilers, ammonia-based cooling setups, and various appliance parts. Help ensure all HVAC/R installations and modifications meet strict safety protocols and design requirements. Utilize welding skills to create or mend mechanical parts as the situation demands. Analyze technical diagrams and HVAC blueprints to pinpoint problems and apply effective fixes. Keep thorough documentation of all maintenance logs, service history, and system changes to ensure accurate record-keeping. Required Background Demonstrated history working as a technician focused on refrigeration or HVAC/R machinery. Practical involvement in mechanical system installation or maintenance within construction environments. Background in managing property maintenance tasks specifically tied to mechanical systems. Proficiency in boiler management, plumbing, and general equipment repair is highly preferred. Capability to interpret complex schematics and navigate technical drawings with ease. Technical aptitude supported by practical welding, boiler, or ammonia refrigeration experience is an advantage. Prior field experience servicing HVAC/R units in industrial or commercial facilities to help maintain reliable and safe system operations.
