Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electrician to install electrical systems supporting commercial HVAC controls and building automation (BAS) projects. This field-based position focuses on conduit installation, wire pulling, device terminations, and electrical installations for commercial, industrial, and institutional facilities. The ideal candidate has a strong background in commercial electrical construction , excellent conduit-bending skills, and the ability to interpret electrical drawings and wiring diagrams. Previous experience with HVAC controls or building automation systems is preferred but not required. Candidates with solid commercial electrical experience and a willingness to learn controls systems are encouraged to apply. Responsibilities Install EMT, rigid conduit, and electrical raceways for HVAC controls and building automation projects. Bend and install primarily 3/4-inch EMT and rigid conduit while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Pull wire, terminate devices, and complete electrical installations for HVAC controls and BAS systems. Read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and construction documents. Assist with the installation and startup of HVAC control panels, sensors, controllers, and field devices. Coordinate with controls technicians, electricians, mechanical contractors, and Project Managers to ensure successful project execution. Troubleshoot installation issues and perform field modifications as required. Follow OSHA regulations, company safety policies, and jobsite procedures. Maintain company tools, equipment, and an organized work area. Deliver safe, professional, and high-quality workmanship on every project. Requirements 3+ years of commercial electrical installation experience. Strong experience bending and installing 3/4-inch EMT and rigid conduit . Experience working on commercial, industrial, or institutional construction projects. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, blueprints, and construction documents. Experience pulling wire, terminating devices, and completing commercial electrical installations. HVAC controls, BAS, or building automation experience is preferred but not required. Residential-only electrical experience will not be considered. Valid driver's license with reliable transportation. Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and quality workmanship.
