HVAC Instructor - PT Evenings About The Job Fortis College in Dothan is seeking an experienced, highly motivated HVAC/R Tech to join its faculty. Job Description We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic faculty member to teach in our HVAC. This is a part-time, professional position reporting directly to the HVAC Program Director. The primary responsibility will be to teach HVAC/R courses. The typical teaching load is two courses each term, with one or two preparations. Applicants will also be expected to provide academic advising to students, and participate in department training, meetings, and graduation. Requirements Completion of an accredited HVAC/R program resulting in a certificate of completion or diploma; an associate degree is preferred but not required
Certifications:
HVAC Certification/License EPA Universal HVAC Journeyman not required, but is desired NATE Certification is not required, but desired At least three years of experience as an HVAC/R Technician Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Highly organized, motivated, and results-driven Prior higher education/postsecondary teaching experience preferred
