Job Description

Overview Join our dynamic team as a Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Technician and become a vital part of maintaining comfortable, safe, and efficient environments across various properties. In this energetic role, you will troubleshoot, repair, and install HVAC systems, ensuring optimal performance and compliance with safety standards. Your mechanical expertise and field service experience will drive your success in delivering top-tier service to clients while expanding your skills in HVAC design, refrigeration, plumbing, and equipment repair. Duties Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and ammonia refrigeration systems using schematics and technical manuals. Install new HVAC equipment, ensuring proper setup according to design specifications and safety protocols. Conduct routine maintenance on HVAC/R systems to prevent breakdowns and improve efficiency. Perform plumbing tasks related to HVAC systems such as pipe fitting and leak repairs. Use tools like ohmmeters and welding equipment to troubleshoot electrical issues and perform mechanical repairs. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design documents for accurate installation and servicing. Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, inspections, and parts used for each job. Support property maintenance efforts by ensuring all HVAC-related systems operate smoothly and safely. Qualifications Proven experience as a service technician in HVAC or related mechanical fields with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems. Construction knowledge with the ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans. Mechanical knowledge encompassing refrigeration, plumbing, boiler operation, appliance repair, and equipment repair. Field service experience demonstrating the ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical issues efficiently. Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and the use of diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Strong problem-solving skills combined with excellent communication abilities for customer interactions. Ability to work in diverse environments requiring physical activity such as lifting heavy equipment or working at heights. $24.73 - $29.78 per hour
