Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning Installer

Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Installer to join our team. Duties Install HVAC systems including air conditioning units, refrigeration equipment, and ventilation systems according to schematics and HVAC design plans Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment Perform maintenance tasks such as filter replacements, refrigerant recharges, and equipment repairs to ensure optimal operation Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning / Refrigeration) diagrams for accurate installations Utilize welding skills for ductwork fabrication or repair as needed Assist with plumbing connections related to HVAC systems and ensure compliance with safety standards Conduct field service visits for troubleshooting, repairs, or upgrades on existing systems including appliance repair and property maintenance tasks Operate a driver vehicle safely when transporting equipment or materials to job sites Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports and system specifications Skills Strong construction background with experience in installing complex HVAC systems Proven service technician experience with troubleshooting and repairing HVAC/R equipment Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals accurately Knowledge of HVAC design principles and mechanical systems integration Familiarity with plumbing connections related to HVAC installations Experience working with refrigeration systems including ammonia refrigeration is a plus Mechanical knowledge of boilers, pumps, motors, and other heating/cooling equipment Field service experience with appliance repair or property maintenance tasks Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters for electrical troubleshooting Welding skills for ductwork fabrication or repairs are advantageous Ability to operate heavy machinery safely including forklifts or other equipment as needed Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong safety awareness and adherence to industry standards in HVAC/R work Join us in delivering innovative climate solutions!
