3/12 (Fri-Sun); 12 work days- Friday, Saturday, and Sunday The Facility Technician will perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance using manufacturer publications, blueprints, schematics and locally generated instructions. Will be required to follow work procedures, work on facilities, boiler systems and production equipment, as well as work on HVAC Systems and perform general maintenance.Essential Functions:
- HVAC Maintenance - Work with, troubleshoot and repair plant HVAC equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on equipment such as HVAC units, dehumidifiers, boiler systems, humidifiers, etc.
- Installation of new equipment.
- 6S general shop upkeep, cleaning, or organizing.
Qualifications:
- 2 years of related technical training and a minimum of 6 years of prior relevant HVAC/industrial equipment maintenance experience
- Valid state issued Driver's License.
- Must obtain a Freon recovery license within two (2) years of employment.
- Proficient in reading electrical/mechanical schematics
Preferred Additional Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding of service and installation processes of industrial equipment.
- Respirator and Breathing air devices and work on fire/rescue teams qualified.
- Experience or training in one of the following: Mechanical, HVAC, Boiler, and/or Electrical. State License in any of these fields is a plus.
- Self-starter with good written and verbal communications skills
- Good interpersonal, and communication skills
- Experience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications and building layouts.
- Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses & repairs boilers
