The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of complex commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems. This role is critical to ensuring a safe, comfortable, and energy-efficient environment for our corporate facilities.

ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Preventative Maintenance:

Perform comprehensive routine and preventative maintenance on commercial HVAC/R systems, including rooftop units (RTUs), chillers, boilers, cooling towers, air handlers, split systems, and exhaust fans.

Diagnostics & Repair:

Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical malfunctions. Repair or replace defective equipment, components, or wiring.

Safety & Compliance:

Ensure all work is performed in compliance with state and local building codes, OSHA safety standards, and company safety protocols.

Emergency Response:

Respond promptly to emergency maintenance requests, facility leaks, and critical equipment failures (may include occasional on-call or after-hours rotations).

REQUIRED SKILLS

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Completion of an accredited HVAC trade school program or equivalent apprenticeship is highly preferred.

Certifications:

Valid EPA Universal Refrigerant Certification is required. [State/Local specific HVAC licenses if applicable].

Experience:

Minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience servicing and repairing commercial or industrial HVAC systems.

Technical Skills:

Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals. Proficient in the use of specialized HVAC testing equipment and tools. Working knowledge of commercial electrical systems (120V to 480V/3- phase).

Other:

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently. This is a full time, on-site position located at our Dillard's HQ.
