Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Refrigeration Installer/Walk-in Panel Installer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing refrigeration systems and walk-in panels across various commercial and industrial settings. Your expertise will ensure that refrigeration units operate efficiently, meet safety standards, and adhere to project specifications. This position offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems to contribute to high-quality installations and service excellence. Responsibilities Install, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration systems, including ammonia refrigeration and HVAC/R equipment, ensuring optimal performance. Assemble and install walk-in panels, ensuring precise measurements and secure fittings according to schematics and design plans. Interpret technical drawings, schematics, HVAC design documents, and mechanical blueprints to execute installations accurately. Conduct routine maintenance on refrigeration units, appliances, boilers, and related mechanical systems to prevent downtime. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters, welding equipment, and other diagnostic instruments to identify issues and perform repairs effectively. Collaborate with field service teams to diagnose problems on-site and deliver prompt solutions in a professional manner. Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including service reports, installation logs, and maintenance records. Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to property maintenance, plumbing codes, electrical standards, and refrigerant handling procedures. Experience Proven experience as a service technician or installer specializing in HVAC/R systems or refrigeration equipment. Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in equipment repair, welding, plumbing, and property maintenance. Familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler operations. Ability to read technical drawings accurately and follow detailed instructions for installation projects. Experience operating diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and other electrical testing devices. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred. Knowledge of field service procedures including appliance repair, air conditioning systems, and mechanical troubleshooting.
