Scottsdale Air Heating & Cooling, a trusted local contractor since 1947, is seeking an HVAC Installer to handle residential and light commercial installs across the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. In this role, you'll install and replace split systems, package units, ductwork, and indoor air quality products to code and manufacturer specs. You'll perform start-up, testing, and basic troubleshooting while maintaining safe, clean job sites. Responsibilities Install, replace, and retrofit residential and light commercial HVAC systems to code and manufacturer specs Lay out, fabricate, and install ductwork, condensate lines, refrigerant lines, and related components Perform start-up, testing, charging, and basic troubleshooting of new HVAC installations Interpret blueprints, job plans, and work orders to execute accurate, timely installs Follow all safety procedures and maintain clean, organized job sites and company vehicles Communicate clearly with customers and team members, explaining work performed and next steps Collaborate with installers, service technicians, and supervisors to complete projects on schedule Document materials used, work performed, and any field changes for each job Required Skills HVAC installation Ductwork fabrication and installation Brazing and soldering Refrigerant handling and charging Reading blueprints and schematics Electrical wiring for HVAC equipment Use of HVAC hand and power tools System start-up, testing, and balancing EPA guidelines and safety compliance Customer communication and documentation
