Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior HVAC Service Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of a wide range of heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), refrigeration, and mechanical systems. Your expertise will ensure optimal performance of HVAC equipment across various property types, including light commercial and residential systems. You will be responsible for diagnosing complex issues, performing equipment repairs, and providing exceptional field service to our clients, along with running turnovers from technicians, and selling new equipment. Responsibilities Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, including Air Conditioning Units, Mini splits, Heat Pumps, and Inverter Systems. Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and troubleshooting on HVAC equipment to ensure efficient operation and compliance with safety standards. Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams related to HVAC design and mechanical systems. Utilize tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment to diagnose electrical issues and perform necessary repairs. Maintain detailed service records, complete work orders accurately, and document all repairs performed in accordance with company procedures. Operate a company vehicle safely while adhering to all traffic laws as a driver; ensure proper vehicle maintenance and cleanliness. Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving HVAC installation or system upgrades. Experience Proven field service experience as an HVAC technician or service technician with a strong mechanical background. Hands-on experience working with construction projects involving HVAC installation or repair. Proven track record of sales background when it comes to repairs and equipment Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; experience as a driver preferred. Ability to read electrical measurements using an ohmmeter; comfortable working with electrical components safely.
