Overview We are seeking a highly motivated Ammonia Maintenance Technician II to join our dynamic team. Duties Perform routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs on ammonia refrigeration systems and associated mechanical equipment. Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues using schematics, electrical diagnostics tools, and hand tools. Conduct equipment troubleshooting to identify faults in HVAC/R systems, boilers, air conditioning units, and building automation systems. Repair HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and mechanical components to ensure continuous operation. Assist with HVAC system installation projects, including ductwork, piping, and system commissioning. Use technical manuals, schematics, and Ohmmeters to diagnose issues accurately and efficiently. Maintain detailed maintenance records and ensure compliance with safety standards related to ammonia refrigeration. Qualifications Proven construction experience with mechanical systems repair and HVAC system maintenance. Service technician experience working with HVAC design, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical diagnostics, and building automation systems. Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems and boiler operations. Ability to read schematics and technical manuals confidently. Proficiency in using hand tools, Ohmmeters, and other diagnostic equipment for troubleshooting. Valid EPA certification for HVAC/R (Refrigeration) is required. Mechanical knowledge combined with excellent customer service skills. Experience with HVAC system repair, installation, and property maintenance is highly desirable. Ability to work safely around ammonia refrigeration equipment while adhering to all safety protocols. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record preferred for van driving responsibilities.
