This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a variety of systems, including heating, ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration, and plumbing. You will be responsible for diagnosing issues, performing installations, and ensuring optimal operation of mechanical systems across diverse property types. We value proactive problem-solving and technical expertise to deliver top-notch service to our clients. Responsibilities Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, refrigeration equipment, and building automation systems. Troubleshoot electrical diagnostics and mechanical issues using hand tools and specialized equipment such as ohmmeters. Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and HVAC design plans to accurately diagnose problems and execute repairs. Conduct routine inspections of plumbing systems, mechanical systems repair, and HVAC system maintenance to ensure safety and efficiency. Repair or replace HVAC/R components such as compressors, condensers, thermostats, pumps, valves, and electrical wiring. Assist with property maintenance tasks related to HVAC and plumbing systems to support building operations. Maintain detailed service records, logs, and reports for all work performed; communicate effectively with team members and clients about system status and recommendations. Skills Construction experience combined with service technician expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems. Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues efficiently. Proficiency in reading schematics, technical diagrams, and HVAC design plans. Experience with HVAC system installation, repair, and maintenance; including refrigeration and ammonia refrigeration systems. Electrical diagnostics skills for troubleshooting electrical systems within HVAC units or plumbing controls. Familiarity with building automation systems (BAS) and electrical systems related to property management. Use of hand tools such as wrenches, screwdrivers, voltmeters, ohmmeters; familiarity with safety protocols including EPA certification for refrigerants. Ability to diagnose issues quickly using equipment troubleshooting techniques; experience working with boilers or other mechanical systems is a plus. Excellent customer service skills to communicate clearly with clients about repairs or system upgrades. Valid van driver's license preferred for on-site travel; experience in property maintenance is advantageous.
